Contact details on new companies
New companies rarely have a website, email address or phone number on record. We show a contact detail only when we have verified that it belongs to the company. We never guess.
What every company has
- A registered office address.
- Named directors.
These come from the official register, so they are there for every company. For a brand new company they are usually the only reliable way to reach a person.
What you may or may not see
On a company profile, the Data Available block shows badges such as Website found, Email available, Phone available or LinkedIn found, but only for details we have verified. If a badge is missing, we have nothing verified for that item. In exports, the matching columns are left blank.
Why we hold back
A guessed website or email wastes your time and can send your message to an unrelated business with a similar name. A blank is more useful than a wrong answer.
How to reach new companies in practice
- By post: use Contactable by post only and the FAO column in your export. See Send a mailing.
- By phone or email: check the company's own website if it has one, and read the rules first. See Email rules (PECR) and TPS and CTPS calling.
- Wait: the newer a company is, the less it has published. Companies you track often gain a website later.
