How to use new registrations as leads
A newly incorporated company has decisions to make in its first weeks: an accountant, a business bank account, insurance, a website, a phone line, premises. The founder has not chosen most of them yet, so the first credible supplier to get in touch often wins. That is why accountants, insurance brokers, web agencies and telecoms resellers watch the register.
What you get for every company is what Companies House holds: the registered office address, the names of the directors, the SIC codes and the incorporation date. What you usually do not get is an email address or a website, because most companies do not have one yet. The realistic route in is a letter to the named director at the registered address, or a call once a phone number surfaces. The export is laid out for a mail merge, and the "contactable by post" filter removes companies registered at bulk formation-agent addresses.
