An alert is a saved search. Combine any of these, and every new registration that matches is included:

What is a Companies House alert?
An email that tells you when a company matching your criteria is added to the Companies House register. NewcoHunter alerts are built from a saved search: a sector or set of SIC codes, optionally a region, city or postcode area, a company type, or a word in the name. Every new registration that matches is emailed to you, daily on Pro or weekly on the free plan.
Does Companies House offer alerts itself?
Companies House lets you follow an individual company to be told when it files something. It does not let you watch the register for new companies by sector or location, which is what a NewcoHunter alert does.
What does each alert contain?
For every company: the name, company number, incorporation date, registered office address, the names of the active directors, and its SIC codes with a plain-English sector. Where a website has been verified against the company's registration number it is included too, along with any email or LinkedIn page published on it. That is rare for a brand new company, which is why the address and director are the useful parts.
How quickly after incorporation does an alert arrive?
NewcoHunter reads the register several times a day. A company incorporated today is usually in tomorrow morning's daily alert, or the next weekly one.
How many alerts can I set up?
