Reading a company profile
Every company has a profile at /company/ followed by its company number. Signed-out visitors see a summary and are asked to sign up for the full details. Free accounts can open unlimited company profiles.
At the top
- Status badge: for example Active, Dissolved or In liquidation.
- Size band: the size shown on the latest filed accounts.
- Warning badges: "Accounts overdue" or an overdue confirmation statement at Companies House.
- Lead status and Notes: yours only. Setting a status places the company in your pipeline.
Overview
Status, Type, Incorporated date, Jurisdiction, Registered Address and SIC Codes. If the company has a website we have verified as its own, it appears here. A "Trajectory" line appears when its accounts show a clear move up or down.
Further blocks
- Data Available: shows which contact details we hold for the company, such as Website found or Email available. Absent badges mean nothing verified. See Contact details.
- Accounts and Filing Dates: when accounts were last made up to, when the next are due, and the confirmation statement dates.
- Officers: current and former directors, with appointment and resignation dates.
- Activity: changes picked up from the public record, using the same labels as signals.
- Insolvency: any formal insolvency cases.
- Persons with Significant Control: the people or entities who own or control the company.
- Charges: secured lending registered against the company.
- Filing History: documents the company has filed.
Some blocks, such as insolvency or charges, only appear when the company has something to show. Unfamiliar terms are explained in the glossary.
