New secured lending
New secured lending means the company has registered a new charge, which is a loan or facility secured against its assets. It sits in the Scaling family.
What it does not mean
It does not mean the company is expanding. New borrowing can fund growth, but it can also be a sign of cash pressure. We show that the lending was registered, not why. The record does not tell you how much was borrowed or what it is for.
How to find it
Look in the Activity section of a company profile, in alerts, or through the Signals API. See Reading a company profile.
Example outreach angle
"We noticed you recently secured new funding. Businesses taking that step often need [your product], and we can have it ready quickly."
Keep it about readiness and timing, not about their finances.
