New director
New director means a company has appointed a new director. It sits in the Scaling family. A new decision-maker can mean fresh budget and fresh opinions on suppliers.
What it does not mean
It does not mean the company is hiring or growing. Directors are often appointed for routine reasons such as a family member joining or a replacement for someone who left. It also does not tell you what the person is responsible for.
How to find it
Look in the Activity section of a company profile, in alerts, or through the Signals API. Directors are named on every company profile.
Example outreach angle
"Welcome to the board at [company name]. If you are reviewing how the business handles [your area], we would be glad to help."
Address the person by name, and check UK GDPR and directors before you contact them.
