Accounts overdue
Accounts overdue means a company has missed the deadline to file its annual accounts. It sits in the Failing family, and it often comes before further action by the registrar.
What it does not mean
It does not mean the company is in trouble. Overdue accounts are often an abandoned or neglected company rather than a trading business that is struggling. Some are just late with paperwork.
How to find it
Open overdue accounts, or search established companies at /companies. Free accounts see a five-company preview.
Example outreach angle
"Many directors fall behind on filing. We help companies get their accounts and returns back on track."
Offer help with the filing and avoid any suggestion that the business is failing.
